Thinking more on my fabric book idea and I don't know if I want to create my show notes in this way, I do still want to experiment with the fabric book idea but using etching on fabric as the content. As stories of saints have always interested me I want to look at this idea of mass production of art and development of traits within imagery of saints. During my foundation course my FMP was about progression of prints taking influence from Louise Bourgeois and her 'Do Not Abandon Me' (1999) print and sculpture works and I want to build on this in a more experimental and developed way and create a book with the prints. I'm thinking of using the story and imagery of Saint Richard of Chichester as it has a direct link to me and the university and I have assess to his shine and in-person research but I've also wanted to incorporate the story of Saint Olga of Kiev because its always been an amazing story to me and the book 'The Primary Chronicle' (1113) will be a very useful reference.

I also want to incorporate painting into the work as I want to fully show my ability as a multidisciplinary artist. I want to use unstretched, prepped canvas as my surface and I prefer the movement and have used it a lot in my painting. My subject matter is still something I'm unsure with but I want to be a compilation sort of painting where I bring together similar historic elements it a range of painting styles and methods.
