'(HUNG) CLOTH PATTERN'

Entitled '(HUNG) CLOTH PATTERN' this work consists of British Linen and Calico printed with a 'reclaimed' early 15th century Christian pattern hung and nailed to the wall. This work transports a religious symbol into it's object state. Removing spiritual context from pattern by placing it within a contemporary setting without form. Using modern creation alongside traditional material it explores and blurs past and present value within the object. Personal/spiritual value and physical/material value.
