'VESSEL 003' - 2021/2022

'VESSEL 003' is a coil, high heat fired pot with jute twine detail. This piece is the final piece from my first wave of 'VESSELS' that have been created to join a larger group of pots that will house my aroma work. Much like the other two it follows references from Peruvian Double Spout and Bridge vessels as well as double spouted Roman oil lamps. This is my favourite of the first three as it incorporated the twine more organically and has a unique identity with its shape.
