I've finally started creating 'SCENT VESSELS' again and I made one I'm extremely happy with. The piece uses the double spout element and is more of a jug form because I was looking at a lot of 18th/19th century English jugs the day I created it. I also took the loops from 'SCENT VESSEL 003' the loops and incorporated them to add a twine element that I loved on the last two vessels. One issue I have is that the clay the uni has brought has a rougher texture then the previous three so I'm hoping when they are fired it doesn't effect the colour too much. My main focus moving forward is scale and form as I like the natural texture from forming and natural colour from firing. I plan to create a very large vessel soon because I think a variety in scale will add a lot to the vessels when they as presented as a whole.

My printing work has started and I began by using my screen to print on a found fabric and it worked really well but there was a depth missing that I want to work on. I then created a hand-etched plate that I printed on a couple of found fabrics I sourced. This worked very well and had the depth I want but still needed something that I'm going to work on. I still plan on creating the photographic etching with my pattern as I do think it'll come put better but I'm waiting on availability of the photographic material.
