I've created my photographic etching plate using the cross motif and tested it out on paper and I really enjoyed the results. Next I'm going to create another plate but smaller using the same pattern and experiment on fabric to see how the print changes. I also have been doing some analysis on my ceramics and picking out the elements I like and elements I would like to work on. The natural marks that happen during the coil process is something I really love about the work as my favourite thing about ceramic is the marks of the maker. As well as this is the loops for the addition of twine as I wanna make this more of a feature as the merging of material is a large part of this body of work. I would like to go back to some of my early research and experiment with slight pattern on the vessels but I'm not 100% on this yet.

Also been working on the degree show and some of the official elements such as exhibition description and business cards. For the exhibition description I've been working on a conceptual document that will be handed out with brief statements surrounding the ideas of the work. The document will be a piece on its own. With this piece I was inspired by documents as art very popular within the conceptual art movement with artists such as Sol Lewitt, Hanne Darboven and Yoko Ono. My document is a post-visual account of what went into the making of the work using unspecific terms. With the business card I plan to print my own using letter press letters I found to give a minimal approach influenced by Martin Margiela.
